This competition is open to girls ages 0-12. Come be a part of the fastest growing pageant mentorship program around! This year we will offer two age divisions to vie for the opportunity to advance to nationals: America's Princess is ages 6-7, America's Little Miss is ages 8-9 and America's Pre-Teen is ages 10-12.

Rules and Regulations:
America's Little Miss pageant looks for girls with sparkling personalities. No pageant experience is necessary! Light makeup and a light "sun-kissed" tan is allowed so that girls are not washed out by stage lights, however these should be age appropriate and only enhance the child's beauty. Tanning, fake hair, fake teeth (flippers) and anything else that ages the contestant are not necessary. This is not a glitz pageant and everything should be natural and age appropriate.

The titles of Little Miss, Miss Pre-Teen & Princess are NOT contract-binding, but you must return to the pageant next year to crown your successor. You are NOT allowed to compete in another pageant that would require you to give up the title of Little/Pre-Teen Miss or Princess however, you may compete in other pageants as long as they allow you to keep your title.

Our entry fee is $350.00 ages 6-12 and $250 ages 0-7 and this price includes all areas of competition, crown and sash to represent your city/county. A deposit of $100.00 is required to register and reserve your city/county title  (please include t-shirt size along with your deposit).

Phases of Competition ages 6-12:

Introduction & Personality (33% of total score)
Each contestant will introduce herself as follows:
"Hello, my name is.... I am... years old and I am from...."
You may also include something interesting about yourself.  Introductions should be kept to 1-2 minutes in length.  Introductions exceeding 2.5 minutes will be subject to a possible point deduction.

Each contestant will wear the following attire during this segment:
o White sneakers ("white" must be the dominant color, but the sneaker can have a stripe or splash of another color)
o White socks NOT ABOVE THE KNEE
o White shorts NOT BELOW THE KNEE with a belt
o Official T-shirt provided America's Little Miss Organization

After each contestant introduces herself, the emcee will chat with her on stage for a minute or two. We are looking for a great personality and a beautiful inner glow.

Sports Wear (33% of total score)
Each contestant will wear the same outfit she wore during the Introduction & Personality phase of competition. SHE IS NOT ALLOWED TO CHANGE ANY PART OF HER ATTIRE FOR THIS SEGMENT. During this portion of the competition, the judges will be looking at each contestant's modeling abilities on stage.

Formal Wear (33% of total score)
Each contestant will wear a formal gown of her choice. This is not a "glitz" pageant. The contestant should appear comfortable on stage, just as the audience should feel comfortable watching her on stage.  The dress should fit well and exude her personality.  Again, it needs to be age-appropriate.

Remember: Wear the dress-- don't let it wear you! Pick your favorite one so you appear comfortable on stage. During this phase, the judges will be assessing the natural beauty of each contestant in formal attire that she loves!

PHASES OF COMPETITION AGES 0-6
**This year we will also carry divisions for the Little Miss Iowa Mini Princess Pageant!  These pageants are not associated with America's Little Miss.  The State title is the highest level of accomplishment for the contestant.  The state winners will NOT advance to nationals but will be awarded a large prize. The entry fee for the Little Miss Iowa  "Mini Princess" pageants is $250 and will include sportswear (a casual outfit, can be off the rack or custom) 50% of total score & formal wear (as described above) 50% of total score.  The divisions are as follows:

(0-23 months) Baby Miss
(2-3) Toddler Miss
